Jackpot
Jackpot is an unincorporated town and census-designated place (CDP) in far northern Elko County, Nevada, located just south of the Idaho state line. As of the 2020 Census, the population of Jackpot was approximately 1,200 residents.[1]
Founded in the 1950s after Idaho outlawed casino gambling, Jackpot became a popular destination for visitors from nearby Twin Falls and southern Idaho. It remains a small but active community with several casino resorts, a school, and public services.[2]
