Spring Creek
Spring Creek is a large unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Elko County, Nevada, located about 8 miles southeast of Elko along the base of the Ruby Mountains. As of the 2020 Census, Spring Creek had a population of approximately 13,500, making it one of the largest unincorporated communities in the state.[1]
Originally developed in the 1970s as a master-planned rural subdivision, Spring Creek has grown into a full-fledged residential community with its own schools, amenities, and community services, while still maintaining close ties to nearby Elko for employment and regional infrastructure.[2]
