Mina
Mina is a small, unincorporated community in western Mineral County, Nevada, located along U.S. Route 95 between Hawthorne and Tonopah. As of the 2020 Census, Mina had a population of approximately 150 residents.[1]
Founded in the early 1900s as a stop on the Carson and Colorado Railway, Mina once served as a supply center for mining operations in the nearby Excelsior Mountains. Today, it’s known for its quiet desert setting, RV stopovers, and access to rockhounding, off-roading, and rural exploration.[2]
