Gardnerville is a historic unincorporated town in Douglas County, located in the scenic Carson Valley of western Nevada. As of the 2020 Census, Gardnerville had a population of approximately 6,000 residents.[1]
Established in the late 19th century as a ranching and trading hub, Gardnerville retains its small-town charm with a walkable downtown, preserved Western architecture, and strong agricultural roots. It sits adjacent to Minden, the Douglas County seat, and together they form the core of the valley’s civic and commercial life.[2]
