Caliente
Caliente is a city in southeastern Nevada and the only incorporated city in Lincoln County. It lies in a scenic canyon along U.S. Route 93, near the Meadow Valley Wash, and had a population of approximately 990 residents as of the 2020 Census.[1]
Founded in the early 1900s as a railroad town, Caliente served as a key division point for the Union Pacific Railroad and still boasts one of the most beautiful Spanish Mission–style train depots in the western United States. While no longer a rail hub, the town is now known for its relaxed atmosphere, outdoor recreation, and historical charm.[2]
