Beatty
Beatty is an unincorporated town and census-designated place (CDP) in western Nye County, Nevada, located along U.S. Route 95 near the California border. As of the 2020 Census, Beatty had a population of approximately 900 residents.[1]
Known as the “Gateway to Death Valley,” Beatty has a rich mining history dating back to the early 1900s and remains a key stop for travelers visiting Death Valley National Park via NV Route 374. With its Old West charm, access to ghost towns like Rhyolite, and desert recreation, Beatty blends heritage tourism with small-town hospitality.[2]
