Lovelock is a city in northwestern Nevada and the county seat of Pershing County. Located along Interstate 80 and the historic route of the Central Pacific Railroad, Lovelock had a population of approximately 1,800 as of the 2020 Census.

Lovelock developed in the late 19th century as a key agricultural and transportation hub and remains one of the state’s few incorporated cities outside of the urban areas. Known for its round courthouse and “Lovers Lock Plaza,” the city blends small-town character with access to Nevada’s high desert and farmlands.
