Fallon
Fallon is a city in Churchill County, western Nevada, and serves as the county seat. With a population of just under 9,000 as of the 2020 Census,[1] Fallon is known for its agricultural heritage, strong military presence, and community-focused small-town atmosphere.
Founded as a ranching and railroad stop, Fallon became central to the development of irrigation and water infrastructure in the Lahontan Valley. It is now home to **Naval Air Station Fallon**, the primary training site for Navy fighter pilots and the famed TOPGUN program.[2]
