Dyer is a small unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located in Esmeralda County, Nevada, in the heart of the fertile Fish Lake Valley. As of the 2020 Census, Dyer had a population of approximately 200 residents.[1]

Dyer is one of the few agricultural communities in this sparsely populated region of Nevada. Surrounded by open rangeland and framed by the White Mountains and Silver Peak Range, the area supports farming, ranching, and a rural lifestyle deeply connected to the land.[2]
