Baker is a small unincorporated community in eastern White Pine County, Nevada, located along State Route 487 near the Utah border. As of the 2020 Census, Baker had a population of approximately 300 residents.[1]

Best known as the main gateway to Great Basin National Park, Baker offers a blend of high desert serenity, dark sky tourism, and small-town hospitality. The community supports visitors to the park while maintaining its roots in ranching, art, and conservation.[2]
