Fernley
Fernley is a city in western Nevada, located in the northwestern corner of Lyon County along Interstate 80. As of the 2020 Census, Fernley had a population of approximately 22,900, making it the largest city in Lyon County.[1]
Originally established as an agricultural and railroad town in the early 1900s, Fernley has transformed into a growing residential and industrial hub, thanks in part to its proximity to Reno, Sparks, and the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center. With a mix of suburban development, logistics centers, and outdoor access, Fernley offers both small-town character and strategic connectivity.[2]
