Whitney is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located in southeastern Clark County, Nevada, near the eastern edge of the Las Vegas Valley. As of the 2020 Census, the population of Whitney was just over 41,000.[1]

Whitney is primarily a residential suburb with a mix of older neighborhoods and newer development. It sits between Las Vegas, Henderson, and Paradise, offering close access to the city core, entertainment, and retail centers. Originally known as East Las Vegas, the community was renamed in the 1950s in honor of a local family.[2]
